Cats

Cats are my favorite animal and I do frequently indulge in catography. My family has always had several cats. I particularly enjoy when I find a feline friend hanging out in neighborhood streets. Cats are crepuscular, so prime cat walk times are dawn and dusk. I consider cat selfies (where the cat is at least kind of looking at the camera) the highest form of art. Feel free to email me your catography. Please make sure to include name (of cat) and circumstances surrounding your encounter.

Walla Walla Cats

When I lived in Walla Walla, I would go on cat walks. I had a three mile roundtrip route through the neighborhoods that, based on my research, maximized exposure to outdoor neighborhood cats. The most cats I have seen on a single walk is 18. I even made a map in ArcGIS with the location, friendliness, and pet-ability of each cat. These are those cats, and their stories.

Thank you to the owners and the residents for being so friendly and sharing your feline friends with a college student missing her cats at home!
