George (name verified by owner) is a very friendly cat but definitely has some attitude. Almost every time I passed his house he was sitting on a chair on his front porch or was laying underneath a bench in his garden. You have to call to him for him to approach you, but he certainly does not come to you every time. How many times have I called his name while he stares at me, unmoving, then returns to his slumber? He often looks kind of grumpy. Nevertheless, when he does decide to grace you with his presence, he is such a sweet boy. Loves to be pet on the side of his face. If it's chilly outside, he may climb on your lap! He also likes to roll around on the sidewalk. His owner is often sitting on the porch as well and is very kind. Truly a cat you can depend upon!
