Simba (name verified by owner) is such a funny cat. He loves to come up to you and roll around on the sidewalk. If you hold your hand above him like you're going to pet him but don't actually pet him, he will stand up on his hind legs and violently bonk your hand--he really loves pets. I'm always laughing when I'm petting Simba, he's just a crazy guy.
Simba has a brother named China who is less social and usually just lets his brother do all the socializing. They both like to hang out on their porch. China likes to sit on the couch or in a flower pot. Simba is more of a wanderer. They live on the same street as Ace, and sometimes Simba will follow you down the sidewalk to check out the houses next to Ace.
If you go around 7pm on a warm evening, their owners will be out on the porch, sometimes with friends. Not only are these some of the friendliest people I have ever met, but they also run the Fat Rolls stall at the Walla Walla Farmer's Market!!! i.e., they make the best cinnamon rolls you will ever eat. They say that Simba isn't usually so aggressively cute and affectionate, but he always is when I pass by!
Also, don't worry about Simba's rat tail--it doesn't affect him, and the owners had it eventually removed by the vet!
